CONTIG ONLINE® - SCHOOL EDITION : : .

Includes Single Player, Two Player, Warm-up, and Classroom Modes

Single Player Contig is one person playing against the computer. Two Player Contig is two players at the same computer competing against each other. Before beginning a game, the player(s) have to agree on the grade level, gameboard type (standard or random), number cube type (whole or integer in 6th, 7th, and 8th), as well as the time constraints, for various parts of a turn. Because players can challenge each other or the computer's moves, each player has to be mentally engaged not only for their turn but also for their opponent's. If an opponent or computer so requests, a move has to be mathematically justified.

In Classroom Contig, the whole room can play along! First, 3 numbers are randomly generated via a set of number cubes. Within the specified time limit, players use these three numbers to build an equation and mark the resulting answer on his/her gameboard. At the end of a turn, a "number sentences" button can be clicked and will then display a list of all possible equations and solutions for the 3 given numbers.

In Warm-up mode, three number cubes and an answer are generated. A player uses these number cubes to build a number sentence (equation) that equals the given answer. After clicking the "verify" button, the computer shows the correctness of the user’s equation. By clicking the "number sentences" button, all possible equations will be displayed.
